glad to see you at the con. whitney pointed out to me another staple of these cons: the fat, bearded middle-aged white guy who thinks what he has to say to panelists is important and needs recognition as a know-it-all, and won't be succinct.
ConDor was pretty small this year - i think in part because it is the same weekend as WonderCon in SF. are these small cons a dying breed? in the SW roundtable discussion that i hosted (thanks again for helping me with talking points), whitney and i were the youngest people in the room. i think most younger generations either are more focused on specific franchises of fandom, or simply less into the literature (harry potter being an exception)
