Anything's possible at this time. I've seen all kinds of rumors, ranging from "Luke Skywalker will be the focus of the sequel trilogy" to "A female Skywalker" (presumably Luke's daughter) "will be the hero of the sequel trilogy."

I'd love to see cameos from the Big Three. Maybe Luke and Leia could be co-running the new Jedi order, and deciding who to pass the leadership down to.
