Cray Rumor Alert: Vader Returns!!1!!

Courtesy of a low-level British tabloid that's like the poor bloke's Sun or Daily Mail...Disney wants to resurrect Vader because they can't imagine Star Wars without him:

Sure, if they want to destroy everything Lucas set up with the prior six films! I mean, did the Express's creative writing department even see ROTJ? I guess they also assume nobody at Disney ever saw TPM or AOTC, two movies without Darth Vader that still made a lot of money. Vader as we knew him in Eps VI-VI didn't even appear until almost the end of ROTS, another movie that made a lot of money. Maybe he could appear in a nutty nightmare sequence or something, but Vader's not going to be the primary baddie in this new trilogy.

I do suspect that the Express' "film mole" is some rumpled 60 year-old guy in front of an old computer who reads Nikki Finke once in awhile, a cigar clenched between his teeth while he types this stuff out in their dingy London offices, but I could actually see a character *dressed* as "Darth Vader" appearing---but not Anakin Skywalker as Darth Vader. Cue a series of ridiculous interviews with Prowse by every disreputable tabloid in the UK!

You're probably right!

I was going to say that it would be quite a trick since Luke burned Vader's body after he died, but then I remembered that the Doctor burned the Master's body after death and they managed to resurrect him anyway, so....

:P

Okay, I love Vader as much as the next person (Probably more, actually), and, um...no.

You want to bring ghost-Anakin back for a heart-to-heart with some of his kin? Fine. But Darth Vader is dead. That was kind of the point.

What I want to see happen (and I demand credit for if it does):

Leia, observing her children learning the Dark Side: "I am my father's daughter."
