Fan fic updates
Aug. 18th, 2004 09:25 pmI've had nothing to say since Sunday, so I'll update you all on my fic-age and editorials.
An A/P viggie for September (I'll probably post it middle of the month as per usual) has been written. I got the idea for it while reading the last Episode III update in Star Wars Insider.
I have a draft done for a short story with Bail Organa and a young Leia. The little princess asks some distressing questions.
Then while pulling pictures online to replace my memory wiped collection, I found one of a discarded scene from AOTC with Anakin walking around outside the Naberrie house with Ruwee, Padmé's dad. There was some dialogue written for that scene, but I'm expanding on it. No, Anakin won't say, "Your daughter is hot and I'd jump her bones if she'd let me!"
One of these days I will have to finish a story I started in 2001, "Beach Blanket Obi." One of these days! It took four years to finish my Shmi story "Mysteries." Let's see if "Beach Blanket" sets a new record.
Then there's my Padmé epic. Sometimes I've got ideas, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I think, "This is gonna be good," other days I'm despairing over whether it's halfway decent. Ugh...(bangs head on table).
I also have completed a draft but never "published" a Han/Leia smutfic from 2001.
Theeen there's an editorial I wasn't planning to write, but after a suggestion from may_child, it just flowed right out. I think I will post it this week.
Also, while I'm working on a sort-of-secret project with a few other fans, I have been playing around with an essay idea that I think will turn out to be pretty cool once I've fleshed it out.
