One big fat SQUEEEEEEE!

Entertainment Tonight will also feature the new Vanity Fair cover tonight (check your listings) and according to its website, it will not only feature one or two of the prequel stars, it will feature everybody. Not just Hayden, not just Natalie, not just Ewan or Samuel L. Jackson. EVERYBODY. As in Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Liam Neeson, Papa George, the droids, Yoda, and of course, Chewbacca. Yessiree bob, the entire SW Alumni Association in a four panel foldout.

Somehow I figured there would be some attempt to tie in the Imperial trilogy since the DVDs had just come out, ROTS ties up the entire series, and well, back when Eps IV-VI were out, Vanity Fair had long since ceased publishing (VF was revived in 1987).

I look forward to the magazine (due out this month) and a plethora of great new pictures!

Wow, wow, and WOW!! The entire "Skywalker family" is here, including Pernilla August and Jake Lloyd, as well as the villains. Fett fans may be disappointed their guys aren't represented, but oh well. 50 bonus points for having Carrie pose with Harrison. They haven't forgotten the Han/Leia fans ;).

I want two of these, one to keep virginal, the other so I can hang up that cover on my wall. I don't know if I can wait a week!!

starwars.com updated with a great little preview of the VF ish due out Jan. 11. According to the VF article's author, Lucas says Vader is "a sad man who made a deal with the Devil...and lost." Check it out for yourself. I'm really intrigued! It sounds a little bit like Orpheus entering the underworld. That didn't go too well for him either.
