It's redundant at this point, so if you really want to see the new A/P picture everyone is buzzing about (and it really doesn't give anything away about the movie), just go look at my f-list. Same deal if you want to see the new Anakin Unleashed figure. Anakin looks like Alice Cooper. The only things missing are the snake and the black top hat.

Check out some new pics in the upcoming ROTS TCG card set. Included is a cute new shot of Anakin looking all intense and a quote that's sad, yet appropriate:

Click on the thing that says "view images."

Check out new ROTS school supplies (one my collecting weaknesses):

And coming to a store near you, new t-shirts (I'm also a SW t-shirt addict):

Books, books, and more books for the small fry:

I love that Play-A-Sound book! If you press the Anakin button, he says, "Screw you, Obi-Wan!" If you press the Mace Windu button, you hear him say, "I'm the baddest @$##$@#$@ in the galaxy, @#$@#$@#$!" The Palpatine button says, "Suckaaaaazzz!" And the Padmé button says, "I'm preggers!" Fun for the whole family.

Here's more about the scoring:

The Amazing Race--Well, the annoying "dating models" won. Bleah. I've disliked them ever since the chick made some comment about poor Africans breeding and breeding. Hey, I feel the same way about "models." But I suppose it's better than the annoying Hayden/Aaron (yes, one of them, a girl, is named "Hayden Kristianson") duo or the dysfunctional exes or the odious Victoria and what's-his-face.

American Idol--A lot more emphasis on good singers this time, which I guess is a lesson from last year's William Hung overshadowing the other contestants. They're zipping through the chaff as well. By now Simon, Paula, and Randy have a good idea of who's going to have legs in the competition and who isn't. Thus far I'm not surprised at who got sent home and who stayed. [livejournal.com profile] foodsthatcan favorite Jennifer is still in and the guy I think is guaranteed to make the Top 5, Anthony Federov, is still there, among others.

The Apprentice--This season they are pitting college grads versus those without college degrees. My God, what a pressure cooker! Contestants are cracking up and one has already quit. Where did they find these hyper type-As? Relax, it's just a dang t.v. show. And if it's this bad with The Donald, one shudders to think what will happen with the upcoming Martha Stewart version. Now SHE's scary!

Trading Spaces--They say this show has jumpethed the sharke. Ty Pennington is now on Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Genevieve Gorter is renovating a town for another show, and I think even Doug is getting his own program. The final straw though has been the news that perennially perky host Paige Davis has been shown the door. You might not like perky, but Paige made the show a hit. The aloof model they had hosting before wasn't right. Paige has that Middle America appeal. When people hated their rooms, she seemed genuinely sympathetic. But nooo, the suits decided they didn't need a host at all. Who the hell is going to narrate the show? Who's going to hand off the keys to the neighbors? Who's going to keep everyone in line or question Hildy's bizarro decorating ideas? Who will be the shoulder to cry on if the couple hates the room? Tell me that, you idiots! No wonder all of the cool kids have moved on to What Not To Wear.

Iron Chef America--This could never live up to the strangeness of its Japanese progenitor, but I still like it. They need to add an audience and some dramatic intro about each of the competing chefs. Oh and some giggling Japanese actresses at the judging table.

Ghost Hunters--Go ahead and tease me with a new episode then dump some more repeats. Aaagh!
