I just read through an interview on said Hyperspace Insider supplement with Matthew Stover, the author of the ROTS novel, and an excerpt from the book. The excerpt doesn't spoil anything we don't already know. But the writing is excellent and this absolutely promises to be a great book. I was perturbed by one of the dopey questions asked of Stover, but I'm keeping poly-ticks off this particular LJ. Stover answered it with class.

Re American Idol: I said that Amanda and Janay were toast and I was right. As for the guys, everyone knew Travis was out but surprisingly Nikko got the hook. Scott and Constantine's fans saved their heinies.

The top 12 is very competitive. Now that the kids will have to sing Barry Manilow, show tunes, Mongolian love songs, and God knows what else, we'll see who has the muscle to go all the way.
