It's Super Bowl Sunday!
Feb. 5th, 2006 09:48 amI have no favorites this year, as I care about neither team. However, I will be watching the ads, though I hope they'll get rid of those terrible Viagra ads. Who wants to explain to Junior what "erectile dysfunction" means and why it's a bad thing if "it lasts more than 4 hours?"
Anyway...Natalie Portman will be hosting SNL on March 4, after the Olympics. It'll be interesting to see if there will be a good SW spoof, though they're going to have a hard time topping the SW "auditions" in 1997 or the Beach Blanket Bingo skit Carrie Fisher did in 1979. I wonder why in all of this time Ewan McGregor's never hosted SNL. Anyone who has seen him on Jay Leno or on his The Long Way Round show knows he's funny as hell and would be a total natural doing comedy.
The lucky residents of Singapore have an Art Of Star Wars exhibit running there now. The show opened in November and Roy Starkiller at the Chinese Star Wars fan site had some piccies posted:

It's rather confusing since I well, don't read Chinese, but the pictures are cool.
Finally, I have a couple of new Vader vignettes that I'll be posting soon. I'm also submitting one of them to a fanzine, something I haven't done in about 5 years. But the editor's cool with online material so you won't have to wait years to see it ;).
