Saw Mission Impossible III today. Good 'splosion filled entertainment; of all the Tom Cruise MI flicks, I actually enjoyed this one the most. I've heard there are lots of similarities with Alias due to J.J. Adams's presence but since I don't watch the show, I can't comment. But there's one scene that's almost identical to one on Lost this season. If you've seen the movie and you watch Lost on a frequent basis, you'll probably know what I mean.
I forgot to post this a few days ago. Apparently Sideshow Collectibles had a server problem the day its first Lords of the Sith doll, the Sith Apprentice Anakin Comic Con exclusive, went on sale and they made this little piccie to commemorate it:

I saw this on the Padawan's Guide to Prequel Costuming...a cool painting of Elaine Lady of Shallot that looks similar to Ophelia!Padmé. There's a reference to the unfortunate Elaine in my SagaJournal Padmé essay, who dies of love for Lancelot.

Since next Sunday is Mother's Day, I thought I'd honor it with my Shmi icon :).
Finally...I got tickets to see John Williams's show at the Hollywood Bowl September 2! W00t, squee, and all that! Rob Zombie's the opening act ;).*
