I Have A Bad Feeling About This

James Luceno has just signed to write a novel about Darth Plageuis and Darth Sidious, due out in 2008:

Now, I loved Dark Lord and Labyrinth of Evil. Luceno is pretty good. The trouble is I'd bet the moisture farm that this will "codify" (at least among EU-reading fans) that Anakin, and therefore the entire Skywalker lineage, was created by the Sith. Maybe I shouldn't be headdesking this early, but...well after this many years I know better.
