Odds and Ends

OMGZ, I realized I need to write a SagaJournal paper for Dec. 1 and I HAVE NO IDEAS. *Psst, don't tell a_p.*

StarWarsShop.com has an amazing special on the book Cinema By The Bay, which about the San Fran movie scene, from Lucasfilm to Pixar to American Zoetrope, etc.. I saw this book at Comic Con and had been meaning to get it for months. Now, it's being offered at the low, low price of $15.99!

Another book I need to get is Dark Horse's Star Wars: Panel By Panel. Alas, they are putting out a second volume soon, this time about Dark Horse's contributions to the EU. Artist Tsuneo Sando did the cover, featuring scores of memorable characters from the comics. Nomi Sunrider, Kir Kanos, The Dark Woman, Aayla Secura, Quinlan Vos, Asajj Ventriss, A'Sharad Hett, Vilie, and Cade Skywalker are all here among others:
