As though it could be any more official, starwars.com announced SW's new "alliance" with the U.S. Postal Service (har har), starting with those fabulous Artoo mailboxes. Wonder where the hell in SD I can find one. Hmmm...
Also, for those of you rolling into L.A. early, they will show all six movies in a row on Wednesday May 23, beginning at 9 a.m.. Attendees will get a neat commemorative pin. Reservations for the freebie marathon are available beginning today if you are pre-registered.
Personally, I doubt I'll attend the marathon. Sure, it would be a blast to have a SW marathon with thousands of hardcore fans, but Wednesday was the earliest I'd planned on driving up (Thursday morning at the latest). I'd have to take an extra day off for it, which I don't really want to do. Figure in time waiting for friends to fly in and checking into the hotel, and the day is more or less over.
