lazypadawan: (CW Anakin)
I haven't posted about either project in a while and just in case you've been hiding under a rock, here's what's been going on.

Indy IV has moved production to L.A., at Universal Studios and Downey Studios to be exact. Apparently there's some shooting in the famed Mexican village that everybody who has been on the Universal studio tour (in my case several times since the mid '70s) will instantly recognize ;). No word if they will use the famous spinning tunnel seen in several t.v. shows and movies, the Jaws village, or the Desperate Housewives street. This blog has pictures and more info:

starwars.com posted a tidbit on Papa George's increasing involvement in the Clone Wars series a few days ago. The material we were shown at Celebration IV made it clear Lucas was always involved in the show, but I guess he's gone hog wild for it. Fine by me! It reminds me of something Matthew Stover said at the ROTS book signing I went to. His wife had told him there's a whole part of Lucas's brain that has been devoted to SW all of these years and she gave it a couple of years before he'd find something to do with it again.

Forgot to add...there's a short interview with producer Rick McCallum in the latest Insider. Here he drops some new hints about the live action show: they're looking at 13-14 episodes per season, they've already ruled out network t.v., and they're already considering doing spinoffs a la "Law & Order." This is probably why he'd said a month or two ago that they could do as many as 400 episodes total for the live t.v. run.
