Finally, a new collecting post!
Jul. 11th, 2008 08:00 pmAs CW arrives on the horizon, the stuff is starting to hit the fan!
TRU already has some CW school supplies, including a big 40 piece set, a smaller/cheaper set, and a couple of backpacks. There's also a Darth Vader school supply set, a Vader lunchbox, an Obi-Wan vs. Anakin lunchbox, and a Vader mini-Thermos. I got the Vader and smaller CW school supply sets. No luck yet with scoring any leaked CW action figures though. Or with the Padmé Evolutions set. Gotta have that one! Hasbro is going to produce a downloadable checklist for collectors next week.
Rebelscum posted a piccie of the upcoming CW Happy Meal toys. There's a lot of complaining on the boards but for Petey's sake, these are for CHILDREN, FANBOY!! If you don't like it, save yourself the calories and don't bother.
Rebelscum just posted a pic of a Millennium Falcon pool! Wow, perfect for those kids' parties. Kids...yeah...uh huh...
Then I see on starwars.com there's going to be retro-style SW sheets available July 25 from potterybarnkids.com! Woo hoo! And they're available from Twin size to Queen size, because we all know there are lots of small children who sleep in Queen sized beds. Yes indeedy. No word on whether they will be 400-thread count organic cotton ;). I also want the blanket shown on starwars.com! Supposedly, potterybarnkids.com will also sell their own line of lunchboxes :).
I hate to rub things in people's faces, but I pre-ordered my Comic Con exclusive Anakin bust from Gentle Giant today. No more waiting in hellacious lines or fist fights with Gentle Giant employees! Yay!
