I hear Ben Burtt is working on the new Star Trek movie, doing post-production sound editing. Despite what many people out there think, the alleged rivalry between Trek and SW is way exaggerated. I haven't had any problems with growly Trek fans since at least 1994 or 1995 and that was a small minority. J.J. Adams is a big SW fan and he knows Burtt's talent in the sound booth.

Start saving your pennies now for a new game/toy/whatever that will let you use the Force to lift up ping pong balls! Well, at least your brain waves:

Cool! The darn thing probably causes brain cancer though ;).

Finally, my fellow Anakin fangirls will probably get a kick out of this description of an April ish of the Clone Wars comic:

Anakin Skywalker has become a slave once again! But he’s not just any slave—he’s the personal pet of the beautiful Queen Miraj of Zygerria.

Whoa! Once Padmé finds out, Miraj is going to find her @$$ coming out of her mouth.

First we have the PT-influenced Star Trek trailer. Then we have George "Sulu" Takei lending his vocal talents to an upcoming episode of Clone Wars. Next Ben Burtt works on the new Trek movie. Now, there is the upcoming animated film Quantum Quest which stars the vocal talents of Chris "New Kirk" Pine, William "Klassic Kirk" Shatner, Hayden Christensen, James Earl Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, and Mark Hamill. Other stars include Sandra Oh, Abigail Breslin, Amanda Peet, and Jason "George Costanza" Alexander. The flick comes out in late '09. H/T DesiringHayden.net
