Almost ignored by the media has been the horrible floods that have devastated central Tennessee as well as parts of Kentucky and Mississippi. Nashville has been hit hard; its downtown flooded and many people have lost homes and businesses. Damages are estimated at $1.5 billion, the worst natural disaster not caused by a hurricane, tornado, or earthquake in U.S. history.
