Buzz Off The Chart For New CW
Dec. 9th, 2010 07:02 pmI've been keeping up with fans' reax to the Savage Opress sneak peek screenings that have been going across the country this week, mostly through the magic of Twitter. Not a single one had anything bad to say about it...they were all pretty much blown away!!
Before there are grumbles about fanboy fanservice, I'm getting the vibe that it's more than cool fights, though I've heard there ARE cool fights! Katie Lucas wrote this arc and based on what she's done before, she's pretty thoughtful about the whole thing. Well, duh, her dad created the whole thing!
I've also read a couple of things about a new super special trailer shown to these screening audiences and it sounds INTENSE. Here's a spoiler-filled description along with rampant speculation. Don't say I didn't warn you:

Supposedly the new Insider is full of BIG spoilers about this arc. (Don't say what they are, okay?)
Dave Filoni told the crowd in L.A. that this will be it for the Senate for the rest of the season and all of those political episodes will pay off at a later time.
Forget Christmas! The real presents come January 7!
