It's an excellent choice. Kennedy has the record of success and a lot of power in Hollywood. I imagine she'll work good with GL.
I do wonder as well if this will means LFL starts producing more movies. Kennedy is a decade younger than GL and leaving the production company she runs with her husband. I can't imagine her giving that up to take a role with a company that doesn't exactly produce movies on a regular basis. There had to be some catch.
I hope too that GL starts doing this other projects he's talked about doing. He's more than earned the right to do it and while we all hope he lives to a ripe old age, the fact is he's not getting any younger.
As for the Clone Wars cartoon, I wouldn't worry too much. He has an excellent team in place there that knows what they're doing (hiring Simon Pegg aside). Hell, even his daughter is an occassional writer for the show.
