I was so happy to finally meet you. I wish we could have spent more time at CIV together. I didn't see you at the hilarous SW items panel until about the end of the session. Afterwards, my friend wanted to eat so we left quickly.
Thank you for allowing Kara and I to hang out with you and your friends. Too bad we got split up during the opening ceremonies. Unfortunately, my friend and I ended up sitting by a couple of elderly stamp collectors. They were so annoying, constantly talking throughout the ceremony. They kept telling the people around them that this was the largest group of stamp collectors in US history. I had to laugh at that. We also ended up sitting next to an obnoxious journalist. Who also would not shut up. Kara (my friend) sat next to him and he kept making rude comments about Star Wars and their fans. I forgot who he worked for, it doesn't matter. He was a jerk. I think he got a hint when my friend left for about 20 minutes just to get away from him. BTW, the media's character badge was the Emperor. That image fits them perfectly. Ha!
PS. I shot some videos while I was there. I will post them on my LJ soon. PPS. I love that LEGO's scene with Vader and Luke. I hope they will have it posted on their LEGO's SW site,so we can watch it again. Unfortunately, I am sure someone captured a poor copy of it on video for Youtube. Yuck. :)
