For those of you who collect Hallmark, today's the day the 2007 line appears in stores. Since this is the 30th anniversary of ANH, they're all ANH-themed ornaments: a small diorama with Luke, Ol' Ben, and Threepio, Tusken Raider, Jawa with Artoo, and the Millennium Falcon. Wonder which one celosia2 is gonna buy ;)?

On Wednesday, Legacy #14 and Rebellion #8 came out. Legacy returns to Cade's mission to rescue the Jedi he sold out some time ago, now a prisoner in the Sith Temple. Unfortunately, it doesn't go too well. This comic rocks every issue and I've developed a bit of a crush on Cade. Leave it to me to be drawn to the bad boys. It must be the Vader pants and the Han Solo attitude. Dark Horse needs to lock Legacy's team in a room forever and make them do SW comics ;). Rebellion is coming along pretty well too. Vader kicks some butt and chokes some losers.

HaHaHa! You know me so well. :P

I will be going to Hallmark this afternoon. I cannot wait. I went to Hallmark's website and got a close up look the Jedi Legacy ornament it has 3 buttons (2) for Ben and Luke dialogue and (1) for the lightsaber. I plan to display it next to my Anakin/Obi-wan final duel ornament from last year. They will go great together.

I also really like the R2 and Jawa and the Millenium Falcon ornaments. I will have to wait on those.
I never saw the Hallmark booth at the Exhibit Hall during CIV but I did get a chance to see that Millenium Falcon ornament close up during the FanClub Breakfast since it was one of the raffle prizes given away.
I wonder if the Tusken Raider is considered the Limited Edition since the sculpt and craftmanship is so good? Other wise why would they mark this for Limited Ed?

Did you happen to look over the new DH comic line up for later this year and for 2008 on Starwars.com?
I think that Legacy of Obiwan looks really interesting. That will be my next comic after the Rebellion series.

Good. I'm sick of the EU describing Vader as a doofus who can barely tie his own shoes....er, boots...er, whatever...so as to glorify the Mary Sue/Gary Stu du jour.

Although I suppose the comics are a different breed than the novels.

Of course, the loser I'd really like to see Vader choke (and fling to the floor and stomp on and...) has to survive in the EU's version of events for a few more decades. Three guesses as to who I am referring. And the first two don't count.

I totally agree with you on the Legacy comics - they're freakin' awesome and Cade is so hot...not quite as hot as Anakin but still....he's got Skywalker in him so it works and that bad-boy Vaderkin attitude. For some reason it's just so hard to resist!
