I loved reading about this--I'd be hopeless on such a trip, because a) too much walking in the heat and b) too much drinking.
But your b&b sounds lovely. Would you be willing to tell us the name of it? I may be going to a meeting in NO in the fall, and although I'll probably have to stay in the conference hotel...
