60. "Let's Get It Started"--Black Eyed Peas (2004)
Popular at games, this was originally recorded with the rather offensive title "Let's Get Retarded," the Peas revamped it and it became a hit. This was used in the opening sequence of the defunct "Las Vegas," starring Fergie's future hubby. It was fate!
59. "Let Go"--Frou Frou (2002)
Another chill/ambient song co-opted for the "Garden State" soundtrack.
58. "SexyBack"--Justin Timberlake (2006)
I don't really like ol' JT; he reminds me of a cheesy guy you run into in a bar. But this is a triumph of production work. Take a bow, Timbaland!
57. "Destiny"--Zero 7 (2002)
SkyTV used this song in a commercial for a SW saga marathon. So you know it's cool.
56. "I Turn My Camera On"--Spoon (2005)
Used in a car commercial, these indie darlings from Austin, TX earned more iTunes downloads.
55. "1-2-3-4"--Feist (2007)
Another iPod commercial hit, this time about teenage hopes and dreams.
54. "American Boy"--Estelle feat. Kanye West (2008)
The only appearance Kanye has on my list. British R&B star Estelle was introduced to American audiences through this catchy hit.
53. "Move Your Feet"--Junior Senior (2003)
Everybody move your feet and feel united! One of the best dance tracks of the decade.
52. "Hella Good"--No Doubt (2002)
The last big hit, besides their cover of "It's My Life," of No Doubt's career before Gwen Stefani blew up on her own.
51. "Starlight"--Muse (2006)
In addition to sounding off about taking back your rights and stuff, Muse can actually do a great, plaintive love song.
50. "All The Things That I've Done"--The Killers (2005)
"Hot Fuss" is one of the best albums of the decade and The Killers is one of the decade's best bands. Who can't love the gospel-y refrain, "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier?"
