After the show. It was packed before the show in Nashville. AFterward, everybody with munchkins was eager to get them home, ditto for the much older folks and all the people who showed up early for the exhibit were eager to leave too. I didn't have any trouble getting up close to anything, and the only crowds left that made picture-taking difficult were around R2-D2, and even that was manageable, I just had an impatient ride waiting for me.

I don't know about the concession stand. . . or are you including souvenirs? The big programs are gorgeous and worth the money in my opinion (though they don't include an actual program of the music, oddly enough). I wanted a T-shirt, but it was so crowded I waited until after the show. BIG mistake. All the stands were out of everything but XS in most of the designs.

I saw lots of picture taking during the shows. I took a few with my cellphone. I did see a girl in front of me get asked to stop taking video, however.

They don't wave lighters, they wave the little souvenir lightsabers. Which were 10 dollars!!!! in Nashville. I've seen them places like Spencer's for half that before.
