and also......when George and Lucasfilm allow themselves and Celebrations to be manipulated by those who replaced GenCon - well now, shades of the dark side. The timing and location were changed not because it made any sense (those poor costumers - troopers and esp that gigantic Wampa) 107 degree heat index at one point and always in the 90's plus breaking with the tradition of Spring for Celebrations. The deal is: Reed Pop wanted to present a direct challenge for the fandom and bucks against GenCon in Indianapolis (August) plus another major one in the southwest. Fans shouldn't be sacrificed to provide gorilla chest thumping to anyone. George and Lucasfilm also have that sweetheart deal with Disneyworld so...I wonder if any other location will ever be chosen.
