Yeah, I sorta feel the same way. I did have a lot of fun at Celebration V but I also think they really need to step up their game in terms of programming and guests. Maybe I'm spoiled from Comic Con, where no star now is too big to do at least a brief appearance and they tend to think big in terms of programming. The prequels panel was a huuuge step in the right direction. I wish I'd gone to another panel where Dave Filoni discussed the political situation in the GFFA during the Clone Wars because I'd heard so many good things about it.
But as I told one of my friends, they need to get Ian McDiarmid or Samuel L. Jackson or something to come to one of those things. That would generate buzz. I was talking to another local fan and we agreed that if Hamill could get $150 or whatever for an autograph, a lot of fans would cheerfully pay double that for Ewan McGregor.
