I'm getting there
Jan. 14th, 2004 08:31 pmI've already added three friends and listed a bunch of interests.
Just to warn you all, I'm going to for the most part yak about fandom, which for me is Star Wars. I'll yak about collecting, fan fiction, what's going on with Episode III, and other stuff. I also have a great little SW site called RebelHeart (linked at the bottom of the page) where I have for your perusal an editorial about the whole LOTR vs. SW crap, a story about marching in a parade in a Jedi costume with some other costumed fans, a review of the Clone Wars miniseries on Cartoon Network, and other fun stuff. Tomorrow, I'll post about the various and sundry Star Wars Mary Sues I've encountered over the years. It'll be fun :).
But it won't be limited to that. You'll see travelogues, occasional social/political commentary, putting the smackdown on celebrities who deserve it, stuff about reality shows, whatever.
Speaking of which, tonight has been an orgy of reality t.v.. A repeat of "The Apprentice," the last installment of "The Simple Life," and the first installment of the latest incarnation of "The Bachelorette." "American Idol" and "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancee" start on Monday. Lord help me, I'm weeeaaak!!
