I Hope I Don't Scare Anyone Away

I'm watching Fox News and they're talking about U.S. forces planning a major offensive in Pakistan this spring in an effort to snag Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda renegades, and remnant Taliban that got away. I think that's great. Go get 'em. My question is this...why are they telling everybody now??? Sheesh! Osama will be halfway to somewhere else once his homies get through to him. Well, maybe they only watch CNN.

While we're on the issue of current events, I just saw some pictures from Mars, courtesy of NASA, downloaded through some software called Maestro. Sweet! I didn't see Marvin running around but I'll be darned if the place doesn't resemble Geonosis ;).

Yep, SW is never far from the brain. I saw a chat Steve Sansweet did on Hyperspace today and I have to bring up another thing that annoys me about these chats: idiots who cannot spell or write properly. Okay maybe some of these folks live in other countries or they are bad typists. But some of the wording on these questions was atrocious, as though the writers are barely literate. Well, given the dire condition of the education system of this country, it wouldn't be surprising (see edurants).
