Presidents Day 2004
Feb. 16th, 2004 05:57 pmI passed up the chance to march in 30-degree weather (Fahrenheit, not celcius) in my thin Jedi costume for this year's Washington Day parade in Alexandria, VA. Perhaps if I had a Wookiee or Wampa costume I would have considered it.
In any case, I had to work part of the day today. No fun but afterwards I found that issue of Dreamwatch I'd been seeking. The interview with Nick Gilliard is a nice one (though maybe I'll e-mail the mag about the prequels not "capturing the cinemagoers' imagination"...maybe it's because y'all ignore those who love them) but the main attraction is the photo of Nick with Hayden on the set of Episode III. [girly gushing]That young man is so unbelievably handsome, it almost needs to be illegal[/girly gushing]. ALMOST. I wouldn't want to drive the poor lad underground. But just in case, he's welcome to hide with me. Heh heh.
Then I found some of the Chef Boyardee cans with some new Clone Wars cartoon promotion. As a collector, I live for this sort of oddball stuff. Then I got to spend some quality time with the ol' collection, rearranging and sorting my junque.
