Ugh, I'm Bored!
Dec. 28th, 2004 06:45 pmThe week between Christmas and New Year's has to be the dullest for SW fans. The official site doesn't update until after the holidays, people disappear (no one has commented here since Dec. 20), nothing new happens, and the message boards get slow save for the same band of morons. ::Knocks head against wall.::
Well, I have been feeling better so I went back to organizing my scattered collection. I suppose I could also use the extra time to work on new essays and my pregnant Padmé fan fic.
Speaking of SW, it's still being blamed for everything. Today I see an article in the San Diego Union-Tribune complaining about why Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman were doing movies like Meet The Fockers; once again it upholds the myth that films of the 1970s were wonderful and revolutionary and oh-so-grownup until SW ruined everything. (Eyeroll.)
