Book stuff and a reminder
Jan. 9th, 2006 07:57 pmReminder: the People's Choice Awards is on tomorrow night, 9 p.m. on CBS. The beauty of living on the West Coast is that with the exception of the Oscars, these shows air three hours in advance and with the magic of the internet, I'll know whether or not to tune in by 8 p.m.. Heh heh. ROTS is up for two awards...we'll see if the Batfans and the Lucas haters used enough robots to defeat us ;).
Book stuff...I found out Timothy Zahn will be in town February 25 to promote Outbound Flight. The last time I planned to go to a Zahn book signing, there was a big ice storm the day before and my dad fell down and broke his leg on the driveway. The good news is there are no ice storms here. So, I shall bring my wheelbarrow loaded with books for him to sign.
I cheated and flipped through Dark Nest III. Sigh! I think now more than ever we Anakin fans need to lobby Del Rey the way the Han and Leia fans did some years back. More when I actually finish the book.
