Comics and stuff

This past week I picked up Tag and Bink Are Dead Special Edition and Knights of the Old Republic #3. If you're not familiar with Tag and Bink, they're characters created by Kevin Rubio of "Troops" fame, a couple of guys stumbling around in the canon SW universe and causing havoc. This issue features the duo in ROTJ, which is an expanded and updated version of a piece that was in one of the Star Wars Tales comics. The art alone has a lot of inside gags and it's just funny stuff all around. Next issue will feature Tag and Bink's take on the prequel era.

I've never played the KOTOR game, so I'm only marginally familiar with the characters, but it's a pretty good series. A Jedi padawan is on the run after his paranoid masters kill his "classmates" trying to avoid some prophecy or other. The script is well-written and there's plenty of action.

Can you believe the weekend of Midnight Madness was a year ago? My bank account is a little bigger now but I still miss those days :(.

I don't rec fics too often but do go check out VaderLVR64's "Sweet Retribution." It's a fantastic AU Padmé/Vader story:
