I need a "Discovering SW" Story

Handbiting, SW Style
Feb. 22nd, 2007 08:26 pmIntro: I decided to disable comments on my post from a couple of nights ago because it was getting too heated. Before I launch into this post, let me make a few things clear.
1. This is my LiveJournal. I'm entitled to my opinion, you're entitled to to yours. You don't have to buy what I'm selling but as long as I'm paying $25 a year, I'm going to say what I think here. I'm not out to make anyone angry but I know how things can fly off the handle when emotions hit quicker than the "enter" or "return" button. And bear in mind while I try to write out of logic and reason, I'm human too. I can be tired, I can be cranky, and I may not always express my thoughts all that well. Sometimes all I'm doing is venting. Give me the benefit of the doubt if you want to keep reading this LJ.
2. I call things as I see them. Nobody/nothing is above or beyond being criticized, but I will give credit where it's due. I don't needlessly flame or bash anyone. Believe it or not, I try to be respectful of others' sensibilities without compromising myself.
3. From now on, for stuff like I'm about to post or what I posted a couple of nights ago, I will leave comments open but comments will be screened.
