What people really want to read
Oct. 6th, 2009 09:23 pmI've been posting several of my stories on FanFiction.net and looking over which stories have received the most reviews, it's clear that people gravitate toward two kinds of my stories:
1. Funny Stuff
And especially...
2. Smut
The humorous stories tend to get the most reviews while the smutty stories get the most hits and visitors. For the month of October (thus far) my top 10 in hits/visitors are:
1. Night Visitation (Anakin fantasizes about Padmé)
2. Reunion (Anakin comes home, nookie ensues)
3. Coming Home (Anakin returns, nookie ensues in a very short viggie)
4. Post Malevolence (after the events of the "Malevolence" arc in CW Season One, Anakin and Padmé get busy)
5. That Time of the Month (Anakin finds Padmé suffering from killer cramps, hilarity ensues)
6. Bedroom Scene (exactly what it says)
7. A Sudden Fantasy (Anakin's too busy fantasizing about desk!sex with Padmé to pay attention to a meeting)
8. Past Love (Vader is reminded of the past when Leia and Han do their "I love you/I know" thing, but he doesn't think about sex)
9. His Hand (Padmé's robo claw fetish)
10. Evilly Ever After (Padmé goes evil)
Looking over the stats for Sept. '09, I was shocked to see people from far flung lands like Saudi Arabia, Estonia, and Croatia reading my stuff. I had over 1500 hits from the U.S. of A. alone. Dang.
