New Viggie: The Grudge

Rated PG for hateful thoughts
Starring: Nute Gunray

Nute Gunray despised many things, but the word "despise" was inadequate to describe his feelings about the ornately-dressed human female who now appeared as a hologram in the courtroom.
Queen Amidala of the Naboo was half a galaxy away, testifying by holo in the trial against him. Gunray didn't bother paying attention to what the contemptible little grub had to say. Why did the galactic media gush so much about her beauty when she was so pale, small-eyed, and hairy? He pretended to concentrate on his datapad as his top-credit attorney furrowed his brow and took notes. In reality he focused on his loathing for Amidala, the one who foiled his plans even after Darth Sidious assured him she was naive and would fold like a house of sabacc cards once pressure was put to bear. She turned out to be more resourceful and resilient than anyone expected. And now he was in a fight for his freedom. Sidious assured him he wouldn't spend even an hour on a Republic penal colony. Sidious's influence would supposedly see things through. Gunray was skeptical.
More than anything, the little white grub of a human humiliated him. For that, she would pay with her life. He was sworn to it. Whether he did the deed himself or someone else--someone who was the best money could buy--he would ensure she would meet her demise in the worst way possible. Them he would put her self-righteous head on his desk so he could laugh at it and mock it forever.
Gunray stifled a grin. The galactic media's cameras were on him and his lawyer had already coached him on how appearances mattered in the court of public opinion. For now Gunray would have to settle for his attorney grilling the young queen on the stand instead of blood vengeance. But one day, justice will be in his favor.
