Celebration Europe Moves To A New Venue & starwars.com turns 10

Apparently thinking they're going to get a gazillion people at Celebration Europe, Lucasfilm has announced that the con will be moved from Earl's Court to Excel, which is supposed to be the largest convention venue in town.

I got a Homing Beacon e-mail newsletter thing which was about the 10th anniversary of starwars.com. I remember when it was a really small site without much content. I think on its first day, it was just a countdown to the release of the Special Editions. Now it's a daily addiction!

Speaking of addictions, I decided to pre-order from the online store Gentle Giant's ANH Leia mini bust.

Yep, I chatted to my organiser pal today (at the Memorabilia show in Birmingham) and he said that LFL have moved the venue from West London (Earl's Court) to East London's docklands (ExCel).....which means all of those Star Wars tourists coming into town (mainly from the USA) now have hotel rooms not 5 mins away but about 45 mins away by tube!

Oh, I will send you some promo stuff for celebration Europe with the xmas card. :)
