Woohoo! A chance for two Skywalker autographs. (And a chance for a picture with Jake where I won't be able to, say, tear the roll of film with the picture on it... :P)

I'm excited about this news. I haven't meet Jake before, but I hear he's a really cool guy. I also hope that this experience is a positive one for him, and that and no disgruntled fans decide to act like asses.

Ben, the head of Official Pix, regularly updates on the Rebelscum.com forums. He said something in a post today in regards to the other GOH: "As far as other GOH are concerned, everyone should know it's in our best interest to have them there too. Trouble is availability I'm afraid currently. While the three remaining GOH have not yet said no to me (and I check with them often), I do feel that every week that goes by without a 'no' actually works in our favor. These guys do feel somehwat compelled to come fo rthe fans, but a trillion dollar acting gig will always come first...."

The fact that he mentions "big movie deals" in regards to the remaining 3 GOH makes me believe that one is almost definately SLJ, and two of the other PT "Big Three" could very well fill the two remaining spots. Hayden, Natalie, and (yes, I know he hasn't expressed any interest whatsoever in doing cons) Ewan are all at a point in their careers where they have continuous work. Even though Hayden is still filming Jumper and isn't doing the Madison Kid, I would think he'd be on the lookout for his next big role. We know that he was secretly scheduled to appear at C3, and did C2 as well, so he's open to doing cons. I still go back to Natalie's apperance at Comic-Con 2005 and can't help but think, "maybe, just maybe.." even though the chance of it actually happening is slim to nil. I understand her appearance was more about promoting the movie than doing it for the fans, but you'll never know. She did sign autographs for a little while. Harrison will be filming Indy 4 soon, so that's out (not that he'd ever do it anyway). We'll find out soon enough!

I'm wondering about this myself. We'll just have to see. SLJ is the Michael Caine of our time...he's always working. It's true Hayden isn't doing Madison Kid and he could possibly be back for this convention. If Ford shows up though, pigs will start flying through the air.

When I first read this I snorted at the idea that they're REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

But then it made me wonder - if this guy is on board, at a Lucasfilm-sanctioned event, could it mean that the lost scenes from the SW trilogy may finally be revealed on the next DVD/Blu-Ray/HDDVD release...?

I thought the same thing...here come the Third Stormtroopers On The Right ;). But you never know. A year ago, we had no idea Lucasfilm was going to re-release the pre-SpEd versions of the OT.
