Curse you, Sideshow!

Sideshow Collectibles put its Snowbunny Padmé (from the Clone Wars cartoon) on sale today with nary an announcement! I found out only from an item posted on Rebelscum hours ago. I managed to get one reserved (it won't ship until early 2008) but I missed out on the Exclusive Edition. Grr.

In any case, Sideshow previewed the doll only yesterday at Comic Con. Lovely. At least my Anakin 12" won't be lonely anymore ;).

Oh, I am sooooo glad you said something! I marched right on over there and reserved mine without a second to loose after glimpsing at your post. And she was hard to find too because her face doesn't appear amongst all the other new pre-orders on their homepage nor does she appear under the SW seciton.

And she's one of the top reasons I signed up for that damned newsletter email that comes every 3-4 days. The ones I would scan through quickly to make sure I hadn't missed out on Padme! All's I can say is Sideshow's lucky they had some left or I would have let them HAVE IT!!!

Looks like 2008's going to be a lucky year for our lil' Anakins. I'm excited for me, but I'm more excited for him! <3 Tee-hee!

p.s. I can't even find an Exclusive Edition listed...did one ever really exist?

It seems like so far this summer Sideshow has been pretty lazy at updating their newsletter.
Especially when it comes to announcing pre-orders. When I ordered my Luke/Yoda statue last year, they were pretty good at keeping me posted on when this was available for pre-pre-ordering.
Maybe they are short staffed?
