lazypadawanA couple of things arrived at the lair the past few days. One is the Star Wars Fandex, which features cards on all of your fave SW movie characters full o' facts and figures. I ordered mine from Amazon.
James Luceno's Millennium Falcon just came out but I haven't bought it yet. I guess I probably should by the end of the week because I just saw that Luceno will be in town this Sunday for a book signing.
Sideshow Collectible's new CW armor Obi-Wan arrived yesterday. This is based on the armor he wore in the CW microseries, not the new Cartoon Network show but done to make it look like Movie!Obi-Wan. The story is I saw it on display at Comic Con while hepped up on painkillers and thought it was such a cool figure, I ordered it on the spot. But it's such an amazing figure, I'm glad I decided to get him. If any of you are Obi-Ewan fans, you gotta get this. He looks hot.
At Target I found a set of CW (based on the new cartoon) playing cards. Supposedly it's a store exclusive but I only saw one on the pegs.

Date: 2008-10-23 02:25 am (UTC)You ordered the CW Obi-wan figure, Cool!!! He is awesome. If I was going to buy a non-Luke figure from Sideshow. It would definitely be that figure. It is by far their best image of Ewan/Obi.
Unfortunately, I made a silly promise to myself to only buy Luke figures from Sideshow. Hopefully, Sideshow will have a Stormtrooper Luke soon. (Wishful thinking) I have noticed on the SS newsletter message boards that people were getting sick of so many Luke figures. Bummer.
