OT: Megastorm!

Wow, just about everywhere in America is under a million feet of snow, except for Florida and SoCal.

Locally, it was 66 degrees and sunny. Ha ha!

So far in Connecticut this megastorm has fizzled out in the snow department. I'm not complaining! I've still got more than 4 feet piled up out there! Today's storm was originally expected to dump another 8 - 12 inches of the vile stuff, but I think I only got about 4 inches today. NOW to see if we get the 1/2 inch of ice that they are predicting for tomorrow. Oh Joy!

I totally agree, so WHY then did I just check with my office email and NOT find an email closing the office?? I mean, it IS freezing rain and/or sleeting out here and every school district between my location and the office is closed due to the weather conditions! Oh, I know why! The boss only lives a few minutes from the office, not an hour in GOOD conditions over windy, narrow, and even narrower now with the snow piled up, back roads like I do.

Well, I'll be the one to decide whether or not I'm going into work, and my inclination is to not go in. He can just deal with it!

Well, we're clear here too... really cold (okay, cold for *here*), but amazingly clear with amazing deep blue skies during the day.

Technically, those two things have a lot to do with one another -- no cloud cover means nothing to hold in the heat.
