After reading a lot of posts on the issue and giving it some thought, I believe this is what Clone Wars (and by extension Papa George) is saying about light/dark, the Force, and good and evil:

Light and Dark are not unto themselves Good and Evil. They're qualities and each have their place. The problem here is when Dark becomes an agency of evil and it upsets the balance of the universe. Someone on TFN's message board noted that Daughter wants to preserve the balance; she isn't interested in destroying Son and she sacrifices her life to protect Father. While Son is upset at Daughter's unexpected demise, he seeks to knock things out of balance by trying to destroy Father. It's in his nature because aggression is a Dark quality and he has no Light within him to keep his aggression in check.

Even though Father is supposed to be maintaining balance, that balance is IMO already out of whack. Father is about to "die" and Son is clearly on the move, while Daughter (as per her nature) isn't able to do much about it. Son sees his big opportunity in Anakin. Notice Daughter doesn't even try to persuade Anakin...she is passive (as per her nature). So Son is going in for the kill, manipulating an already vulnerable yet powerful all-too-human young man. Notice the more Anakin refuses, the more aggressive Son becomes. By the looks of the Feb. 11 preview, Son is throwing in all of his poker chips. And there's no more Daughter, no Light to counteract him save for what little bit is in Ahsoka. It looks like Son also does a number on Obi-Wan.

So, will next week's episode explain what the heck Mortis is and why these Jedi were brought there? Anakin as the Chosen One is the catalyst for all of the drama that occurs amongst the Family, because Son and Father see him as an opportunity. The crazy thing is, had Anakin chosen to stay at the end of "Overlords," he would have brought that drama to a quick end, not to mention avoid all of the "real life" drama that eventually happens to Anakin.

But at the same time, whyever should Anakin be put into such a position where he should *have* to basically totally disavow everything else of any import or significance in his life - namely, yeah, those others who love him and hence whom he loves in return, and so those who are very much an inherent part and parcel of his whole enitre life, really, and one which for that matter doesn't necessarily have to revolve solely, first and foremostest, on being the Chosen One above all else....okay, yes, obivously he is very much that and it's naturally something predominant to be considered, yet by the same token that's in no way, shape or form *all* he is - because he's still very much a human being with hopes, dreams, fears and desires, thoughts and feelings all his own....

One just can't ask it of him to so wantonly and totally disregard all else that obviously is so meaningful in his life and really makes it that much more fulfilling and satisfying as a whole - an entirely well-rounded existence, that's what - just for the overarcing sake of achieving that greater destiny and so fulfilling the grander prophecy....he *can* very much do just that, but he shouldn't have to give up all else of meaning and import in his life to do it. He *can* in fact very much be more than just one thing - more than just the Chosen One and innate child of a greater and grander destiny, he's also very much that person whose name is Anakin and that, I just so fervently feel, is of equal important and greatest significance just as much as anything he might e'er be prophesied to achieve and so the greater balancing of the Force and of the galaxy with it he *is* very much made and meant for. He can be more than just one thing, his life can in fact revolve around more than just one facet....

....which, I feel, is of course just all the more reason why 'twould just be something unacceptable and simply not *done* for him, personally....because he has so much *more* than just that prophesied destiny going for him, he has much else he cares about and which is of real significance and meaning and which, for that matter, his whole entire existence is only that much better and brighter and still more fulfilling for, as a result....so he shouldn't be asked to give that up, just turn his back on it, because it's simply not *necessary* that he should ever have to - I don't at all get the feeling that the Force itself would want that for him, for one thing, since after all if he was *born* into an environment, a life where loving, and being loved, and so personal attachments and all the rest of it *were* very much a factor and something natural, essential for him - well, put it this way, the Force itself gave him into that environment, to be loved, cherished by his mother and so to love her in return.....

....and with that in itself being the case, aye, surely then the Force - giving him to a mother, allowing him to form these easy, natural attachments and so having it be just something he grows up with and something he innately needs, and really is all the better for it, too - well, yeah, it just seems to me rather highly unlikely then that the Force which would birth him into such a life, to be loved by, and so loving of, such a mother - for starters!....would then ever ask it of him to just totally disregard and turn his back on so loving, and being loved by others, and having those selfsame personal attachments in his life. The Force placed him in such an environment, had him grow up knowing such things and being affected and powerfully shaped by them, for a reason....because they were part and parcel of his very existence, absolutely essential to him, right from the very beginning.

So to ask him ever to deny that or pursue another path, well, it just seems to me that would in turn be asking him to go against something so inherently natural and obviously Force-granted right from the beginning. And that, one simply *cannot* do....
