Watching Clone Wars again
Jan. 7th, 2006 09:00 pmI finally sat down and watched my Clone Wars Vol. 2 DVD all of the way through, enjoying the delights of Anakin's bare tattooed chest, ignoring the fuzzy animals, and recalling all of the pre-ROTS fun.
This is the first time I've seen all of the Volume 2 episodes since ROTS. I noticed a couple of interesting things. Mace Windu uses the Force to damage Grievous's thorax and immediately, you can hear him coughing. Heh heh. When the cartoons were first broadcast I didn't take any notice of the red and yellow circle-like emblems on the ships, but now I did...they're on all of the Republic ships in ROTS. Cool! Then there's the shaman scene on Nelvaan. The old shaman says that Anakin has to take a journey through fire and Anakin exclaims, "What?!" It seems the shaman's predictions were for a later time. I love seeing Hero!Anakin and his buddy relationship with Obi-Wan. Obi always seemed to be smirking whenever Anakin had to do something for those Nelvaan natives though ;).
