lazypadawanAfter weeks of not finding those commemorative tin sets, they're suddenly available. I bought tins off of eBay and from a guy on Rebelscum without the figures because I was really more interested in the tins than I was in the figures (mostly repacks just with some soft goods cloaks and stuff). I got five out of the six sets that way and got the last one I needed (TPM) from WalMart. I'm perfectly happy to save the money. I paid a grand total of $46 for these (half of it went to that one TPM set at WM), as opposed to paying $150 for all six sets off the shelf with the figures. Now, I'm looking for the Bespin Leia/Vader Galactic Heroes set. I saw the New Empire mini Unleashed set at WM, but I passed on it because I thought the Anakin sculpt/paint job was rather meh.
I got the Complete Saga 2007 calendar at Borders, which is what I'll use at work. There's a second wall calendar I haven't seen on the shelves anywhere, so I'll probably just get it online. There's a desk calendar too, but I'll probably buy that 50% off after Xmas as a collectible.
