EndorExpress posted some upcoming toys that will be sold exclusively at Disney parks. There's going to be a set of Muppet-as-SW-characters figurines (Gonzo = Vader, Miss Piggy = Leia, Kermit = Luke), a set of Disney characters in PT mode (Goofy = Jar Jar, Mickey = Anakin, Minnie = Queen Amidala), Indiana Jones Mickey, SW racers, and most awesomely of all:

The Polly Pockets-like sets were previewed at CIV last year. *Wants.*

Too cute! *also wants* (Though I'm blanking on when Leia wore a blue dress.) And do my eyes deceive me, or does that Padme come with a teeny portrait of Anakin, and Leia one of Han? :)

I'm guessing that blue dress represents the white gown Leia wore at the end of ESB, but since she already had three white outfits in the set already (the two ANH dresses, the quilted ESB thermal suit), they decided to make it light blue.

And yes, it looks like Leia and Padmé each come with teeny portraits of Han and Anakin, respectively. Excuse me while I squee for a few hours. ;-)

That was an off-camera dress. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Those are tiny portraits of Anakin and Han. I sat through a collectors' panel at CIV where they showed the concept art for these sets and I noticed the mini portraits and just about squeed like a crazed piglet.

I thought those sets were cute enough as is, but the portraits all but seal it. Something tells me I'm going to be doing some hunting on Ebay. ;)

Hmm. The ESB ending gown is basically the same one she wore through ANH, and it doesn't seem to look like that blue one. I suppose it could be from somewhere in the EU? That blue Padme dress I couldn't figure out for a while either, but now I think it's from an ep of Clone Wars - or a non-maternity version of her RotS nightgown ;) - so it's possible.

No! No EU! ;-)

Maybe they just threw in a blue dress for the heck of it, to give Leia a bit more color in her wardrobe. As Carrie has joked, Natalie Portman walks through a door in the PT and she's wearing a new outfit, whereas she herself got two measly dresses in ANH. They did expand her wardrobe a bit in ESB (three outfits) and ROTJ (four -- if you can call the bikini an "outfit"), though she never had the wardrobe Padmé did.

Very cute, but where are their blasters? Forget the purses! :)

Maybe the blasters are inside the purses ;).

Totally random but this fellow at Disneyland who worked on STar Tours told me they're in arrangements to change the ride to something more 'current' (ie Episode III sort). I HOPE SO. It would be AWESOME.

But I'd miss the little bad pilot droid :(

That rumor has been around for years. But maybe they can add some stuff to the ride without getting rid of the pilot droid.
