Clone Wars Trailer to Debut With Speed Racer

Comingsoon.net says the theatrical trailer for Clone Wars will debut on May 9, attached with Speed Racer:

ComingSoon.net has learned that Warner Bros. Pictures is currently planning to reveal the trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars in theaters with the studio's own Speed Racer on May 9th. We are uncertain at this point when the trailer would debut online, though studios usually bring trailers online that same week.

Back I go to the theater to pay for a movie I'd never see otherwise for a glimpse of awesomeness.

Rumor has it The Clone Wars theatrical trailer will debut next week on Spike T.V as well:

"It (a previous TF.net report that was deleted) is on the latest Force Cast when Terry Minogue (I think I spelled that right?) from SpikeTV was on. I actually sent the question which was if they were going to show any clips of The Clone Wars next weekend or the weekend after when they are showing all six Star Wars movies. He didn't come right out and say, "Yeah, during Revenge of the Sith." but he did say something like, "Who wouldn't want to be the network that airs The Clone Wars trailer?""

I still remember paying to see "Analyse This" simply to see the TPM trailer. Oh, the things we do for STAR WARS!

I drove all of the way to Baltimore to see the first TPM trailer with The Waterboy because I didn't want to sit through three hours of Meet Joe Black to see it in Washington, D.C., which was much closer to where I used to live.

I could do a whole post on the movies I went to see just to see those trailers.
